Course Overview
Fetal growth and Doppler studies are integral aspects of prenatal care, dedicated to ensuring the health and development of the fetus throughout pregnancy. Participants will be taught how to accurately assess fetal growth by measuring various dimensions of the fetus and comparing these measurements against established growth charts. Additionally, participants will learn the correct techniques to perform Doppler.Mastering the techniques of doppler will help informed clinical decisions, particularly concerning the timing of delivery and the management of pregnancies deemed high-risk.
Curriculum
- Fetal biometry including biparietal diameter, head circumference, abdominal circumference, and femur length
- Growth assessment by using growth charts
- Color doppler including Umbilical, middle cerebral and uterine arteries and Ductus venosus flows.
- Fetal environment
Eligibility
- Practicing Gynaecologists or Radiologists with minimum 1 Year experience in Obstetric Imaging
- Once applied, selection committee would inform you regarding your registration.
