Course Overview

The field of prenatal screening is rapidly advancing, making it a formidable challenge to stay current with the latest developments in fetal medicine. Our onsite course provides an in-depth training program dedicated to mastering the First Trimester Scan. Led by Dr. Ladbans Kaur MD, a renowned expert and enthusiastic educator in fetal imaging, this course is designed to sharpen the skills of professionals in this specialty. Participants will gain both a foundational understanding of a viability scan and ectopic pregnancy. We will also illustrate a thorough, systematic approach to evaluating the fetus in the First Trimester. By the end of this course, attendees will be equipped with the expertise needed to conduct comprehensive first trimester scans effectively.

Curriculum

4-10 weeks scan
Ectopic Pregnancy
11-14 weeks Ultrasound
- Biometry including CRL
- Imaging of Aneuploidy Markers including Nuchal Translucency, Nasal Bone, Ductus Venosus and Tricuspid flow
- Uterine artery doppler.
- Detailed assessment of the anatomy of the foetus including head, spine, face, thorax, abdomen and extremities.
Imaging of multiple gestation

Eligibility

Practicing Gynaecologists or Radiologists with minimum 1 Year experience in Obstetric Imaging
